Jubilee Path

“Sentiero del Giubileo” was planned by Regione Lombardia in collaboration with Politecnico of Milan and the Regional Enterprise of Forests.

It is a stretch of the ancient road followed by all those pilgrims who in the Middle Ages went to Rome to celebrate the Jubilee and to obtain the plenary indulgence.

The route of the path comprises: the “Badia” of S. Gemolo, the Oriented Nature Reserve of Lake of Ganna, the “Miniera Valvassera”, the Castle of Frascarolo in Induno Olona and if you make your way towards Via Sacra, also the Chapels and the Sanctuary of S. Maria del Monte.

Other information: the Jubilee Path is provided with a specific directional system of signs characterized by a “logo” representing the stylized figure of a pilgrim dressed in penitential clothes.
